Visitors with mobility challenges can enjoy the water using standard wheelchairs, available free of charge. Pick one up at the Beach Information Kiosk, open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Parking Lot

Hanauma Bay parking can be challenging due to the location’s popularity, but it’s worth the effort to experience the stunning snorkeling opportunities. If you choose to drive to the location yourself, the parking fee is only $3.00, although parking spots tend to fill up quickly. We recommend arriving early to secure a spot, or considering alternative transportation options such as taking a shuttle or tour bus.


Booking a spot here can be tough as slots open only two days prior. Check the parks and recs website in advance and wake up early to secure a good spot. The gift shop is pricey but supports the reserve. Snorkeling on the quieter right side was great for fish watching. Stunning views make this place worth it.
