For years, Waikiki Beach has been Oahu’s tourism hub, known for its scenic white-sand beaches and palm trees. The area boasts a variety of upscale high-rise hotels stretching from downtown Honolulu to the impressive Diamond Head.
This location provides easy access to quintessential Hawaiian beach activities, such as sunbathing, swimming, and snorkeling. Additionally, visitors can enjoy fruity drinks and find excellent shopping and dining options nearby.
Waikiki Beach is perfect for water activities like surfing lessons and stand-up paddleboarding tours on Oahu. Guests can also experience the beach on duck or catamaran sunset cruises or embark on an underwater adventure with a submarine ride. If you prefer a more laid-back experience, unwind on the sun-kissed sandy beach. Many Oahu tours feature a stop at Waikiki Beach and other prominent Honolulu attractions. Some tours also visit the North Shore’s Polynesian Cultural Center, Hanauma Bay, and Sea Life Park Hawaii on the east coast. For a comprehensive Oahu experience, helicopter or circle-island tours, which depart from Waikiki and highlight the entire island, are options to consider.
